ABOUT-LIBRARY
The central library is to support the curriculum needs of students, teaching staff and support staff of the institution through the development of pertinent collections. The central library at SPC serves as a vital resource for students and faculty, providing access to a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources related to Science, Technology. Also having huge collection of Telugu and English literature and Autobiography
The provision of services designed to meet the user information and learning needs such as Book Bank Service, Lending Service, Digital Library Service, Multimedia and Periodical service. It equipped study areas, computer stations, and specialized sections for various engineering disciplines and management and also reprography facility.
Library follows the open access system, encouraging the user to browse resources freely in the knowledge centre. It identifies, evaluates, procures, processes and then makes these learning resources available to the faculty and students for their teaching, learning and research assignments.
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF LIBRARY;
- The central library is opened from 9.00 A.M. to 4.30 P.M. on all working days.
- Before entering in the Library the student and faculty enter their name and signed in the register at the entrance counter
- Mobile phones and any kind of eatables are strictly prohibited in the Library premises
- Students and Faculty should enroll their names in borrowers register by submitting 3 Pass port size photos and ID number
- Misbehavior in the library will lead to cancellation of membership and also attracts serious disciplinary action
- The central library has a provision for Inter-Library loan provided by the DELNET. All the members can avail this facility
- 6 News Papers are available in the library (The Hindu, Deccan Chronicle, Business Line, The Hans India, Sakshi, Eenadu)
- Silence to be maintained in the premises
- Registration should be done to become a library member prior to using the library resources
- No personal belongings allowed inside the library
- Textbooks, printed materials and issued books are not allowed to be taken inside the library
- The librarian may recall any book from any member at any time and the member shall return the same immediately
- Library borrower cards are not transferable. The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her card
- Refreshment of any kind shall not be taken anywhere in the library premises
