Diploma in Automobile Engineering is a three-year undergraduate program focusing on various aspects of automotive technology and engineering. This program trains students in designing, manufacturing, maintaining, and understanding the functioning of automobile components.

Eligibility for Diploma in Automobile Engineering requires a class 10 qualification with at least 60% marks from a recognized board. Admission to Diploma in Automobile Engineering is typically based on merit or entrance exams.

Upon completion, graduates of Diploma in Automobile Engineering can expect an average salary range of INR 3.2 LPA to INR 8.5 LPA. Top recruiters include automotive companies, manufacturing firms, service centers, and research organizations within the automotive industry.

A diploma in automobile engineering is a course that teaches the basics of designing, manufacturing, and maintaining vehicles such as cars, bikes, trucks, buses, etc. It also covers topics such as engine systems, transmission systems, suspension systems, brake systems, electrical systems, etc.

Some possible reasons to do a diploma in automobile engineering are:

  • Students who have a passion for automobiles and want to learn how they work and how to improve them.
  • Students who want to pursue a career in the automobile industry, such as a mechanic, a technician, an engineer, a designer, a manager, etc.
  • Students who want to gain practical skills and hands-on experience working with various types of vehicles and their components.
  • Students who want to enhance their knowledge and qualifications in automobile engineering and prepare for further studies or research.
  • Students who want to explore the latest trends and innovations in the automobile sector, such as electric, hybrid, autonomous, etc.

The course also includes workshops and labs to provide practical knowledge. The course is usually three years, divided into six semesters. The specific subjects may vary slightly from college to college, but the core areas of study remain consistent.

Automobile Engineering is in transition phase from traditional Petrol/Diesel Engine vehicles to Electric, Hybrid and Autonomous stages. Automobile industry is a fast moving sector requiring engineers who are conversant with the concept of product design, functional utility and integrated technology used in the manufacture of an Automobile. Students are educated and trained competently in these areas. And our Automobile Jr.Engineers are already proving their quality and worth in the Automobile Engineering field.
